Moises and Water & Music are partnering on a groundbreaking new study to capture how AI tools are shaping all kinds of music careers, from bedroom producers to touring artists. Whether you use AI daily or haven't touched it yet, your perspective matters.
This survey takes 5–10 minutes to complete if you haven't used AI tools, and 10–15 minutes if you have.
• All your responses will be kept 100% anonymous.
• You only need to provide your email at the very end of the survey if you're interested in entering the giveaway, which is completely optional. If you do provide your email info, it will not be tied to your response in our analysis, and will not be used for marketing purposes by either Moises or Water & Music.
• The survey closes at 11:59PM ET on Friday, December 12, 2025. Giveaway winners will be notified week of December 15, 2025. The full results of the report will be published in early 2026.
Some important definitions to keep in mind:
• Assistive AI music tools help you with specific tasks in your existing workflow like stem separation, mixing, mastering, practice tools, or audio cleanup. You're still creating the music; AI handles the more technical tasks. Examples of tools in this category include AudioShake, RoEx, Masterchannel, and the vocal removal/stem separation tools in the Moises App.
• Generative AI music tools create full songs or significant musical or vocal content from text or audio prompts. Examples of tools in this category include Suno, Udio, ElevenLabs Music, and the stem generation tool in Moises AI Studio.
